The fruit used in our jellies is hand picked from our kitchen garden and orchard and the jellies are made at The Old Manor using traditional preserving methods with no additional colourings, flavourings or preservatives. If necessary, and depending on the fruit, we use lemon juice or homemade apple stock to set the jelly. These versatile fruit jellies are lovely served with roast lamb, pork, chicken or game and as an accompaniment to cold meats. They can provide added flavour and thickness to gravy, be used as fruit sauce for ice cream, and make a delicious alternative to marmalade. Old Manor Fruit Jellies make a lovely traditional english gift whether you're looking for a present for mum, a thank you gift or a birthday present. Most Old Manor Jellies are available in single jars or are included in our variety gift boxes and miniature collection gift boxes. |

Crab Apple Jelly
Our crab apple tree produces a multitude of small, hard bright red crab apples. The fruit is cooked to release the juices and flavour and strained to produce a deep thick dark red juice. Sugar is added to the fruit juice to produce this rich red jelly packed full of crab apple flavour.
Crab apple jelly is included in our Breakfast Gift Box as it makes a great alternative to marmalade. |

Redcurrant Jelly
Red Lake and Rovada varieties of redcurrants are used to make this deep red jelly. The redcurrants are cooked until soft and then strained to leave an intense flavoured juice. The redcurrant juice is then heated with sugar to create a jelly bursting with fruit flavour. Redcurrant jelly tastes great with lamb, chicken and turkey - add a tablespoon to the gravy for added flavour.
Our Redcurrant Jelly is include in our Christmas Food Gift Box alongside our Christmas Mincemeat and Chutney |
